Michael and Martin walked us through the latest in the promising field of cell and gene therapy, and how the Red Cross is contributing to that exciting work. They shared about Chris White, who had stage 4 melanoma and in 2020, enrolled in a clinical trial for Tumor infiltrating Lymphocyte therapy. Within a year, Chris had a complete metabolic response and is cancer free today.

September 11th Victim Compensation Fund with Stathi Patseas

Stathi will provide an update on the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and clarify rumors and answer questions. The VCF provides compensation to those who were at one of the three crash sites during or in response to the terrorist attacks, and who have since been diagnosed with a related illness. The VCF receives an average of 700 new claims each month from 9/11 victims.

    Stathi Patseas will provide an update on the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, clarify rumors and answer questions from attendees. 


    The VCF provides compensation to individuals (or a personal representative) who were present at one of the three crash sites in response to the terrorist attacks, and who have since been diagnosed with a 9/11-related illness. 

     

    Compensation from the VCF is not limited to first responders. It is also available to those who worked or volunteered at one of the sites, as well as people who lived, worked, visited, or went to school in the VCF NYC Exposure Zone. 

     

    The @Sept11VCF receives an average of 700 new claims each month from

    9/11 victims.

His films are known for blending journalistic insight with cinematic craft to engage audiences on both an intellectual and emotional level.
